Service availability may vary depending on event date, location, rental inventory, staffing, and project scope.
2. Consultations and Quotes
Consultations are provided to understand your event needs, budget, theme, and preferences. Any quote provided is based on the information available at the time and may change if the event scope, guest count, location, rental needs, or design requirements change.
A booking is not confirmed until required payments, agreements, or deposits have been completed.
3. Booking and Payments
To reserve a service date, Micah Events may require a deposit or partial payment. Payment terms will be provided at the time of booking.
Clients are responsible for making payments on time. Late or incomplete payments may result in delays, service limitations, or cancellation of the booking.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation and refund terms may depend on the type of service, event date, rental items, vendor commitments, and work already completed.
Deposits, booking fees, design fees, or payments for custom work may be non-refundable once planning, preparation, purchasing, or scheduling has begun.
Any approved refund will be reviewed and processed according to the specific booking agreement.
5. Event Changes
Clients must notify Micah Events as soon as possible if there are changes to the event date, time, location, guest count, theme, setup requirements, or rental needs.
Micah Events will make reasonable efforts to accommodate changes, but changes are subject to availability and may result in additional charges.
6. Rental Products
Rental items remain the property of Micah Events unless otherwise stated. Clients are responsible for rental items during the rental period.
Clients may be charged for damaged, lost, stolen, or excessively dirty rental items. Rental items must be returned or made available for pickup in the same general condition in which they were provided.
7. Setup and Access
Clients are responsible for ensuring Micah Events has proper access to the venue or event location for setup, decorating, delivery, and pickup.
Any delays caused by venue restrictions, lack of access, weather, traffic, parking limitations, or client-side changes may affect setup completion and may result in additional fees.
8. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for:
- Providing accurate event information
- Securing venue permissions and approvals
- Confirming event rules and restrictions
- Providing timely responses and approvals
- Ensuring payments are made as agreed
- Communicating any changes as early as possible
9. Vendor and Venue Policies
Micah Events is not responsible for the rules, delays, restrictions, damages, or service issues caused by third-party venues, vendors, contractors, or suppliers.
Clients are responsible for confirming that event designs, decorations, rentals, and setup requirements are allowed by the venue.
10. Photos and Marketing
Micah Events may take photos or videos of completed setups, decorations, or event designs for portfolio, website, and social media use unless the client requests otherwise in writing before the event.
We respect client privacy and will not intentionally share private or sensitive information.
11. Website Content
All text, images, logos, designs, graphics, and content on this website are the property of Micah Events or used with permission. You may not copy, reuse, reproduce, or distribute website content without written permission.
12. Limitation of Liability
Micah Events will make every reasonable effort to provide professional and reliable service. However, we are not responsible for delays, damages, or issues caused by circumstances outside our control, including weather, emergencies, venue restrictions, vendor delays, traffic, accidents, or acts of nature.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Micah Events shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
13. Force Majeure
Micah Events is not responsible for failure or delay in performance due to events beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, illness, government restrictions, venue closures, accidents, or other emergencies.
